A targeted Solidarity Fund

Established by the government at the very beginning of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Solidarity Fund has enabled small businesses hard-hit by the health crisis to receive conditional financial assistance.

In fact, they were given two kinds of financial support: the one paid by the State, a maximum of 1,500 euros per month, which was intended to make up for a loss of turnover in March, April and May 2020, and the other paid by the regions, amounting between 2,000 and 5,000 euros, which was intended to limit the number of bankruptcies of very small businesses.

From June 1, 2020 until December 31, 2020, the Solidarity Fund will be available only to companies belonging to sectors heavily affected by the crisis such as catering, culture, sport, events, and related sectors. As far as the regional supplementary assistance is concerned, it is now available to small companies under less stringent conditions. Furthermore, the maximum amount of the regional assistance is increased from 5,000 euros to 10,000 euros.
